Rebel Matcha Pistachio Nitro Float (Print Version)

A creamy, fizzy float blending matcha ice cream, pistachio, and nitro soda for a playful dessert drink.

# Ingredients:

→ Pistachio Nitro Cream Soda

01 - 240 ml chilled sparkling water or nitro cold brew soda water
02 - 30 ml pistachio syrup
03 - 2.5 ml vanilla extract
04 - 60 ml whole milk or barista oat milk
05 - 30 ml heavy cream (optional)
06 - Ice cubes

→ Matcha Float

07 - 2 scoops matcha ice cream (store-bought or homemade; vegan if preferred)

→ Garnish

08 - 2 tbsp shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
09 - Whipped cream (optional)
10 - Matcha powder, for dusting

# Steps:

01 - In a chilled mixing glass, blend pistachio syrup, vanilla extract, milk, and heavy cream until fully incorporated.
02 - Fill two tall glasses halfway with ice cubes.
03 - Divide the pistachio cream mixture evenly between the glasses.
04 - Slowly pour chilled sparkling water or nitro soda into each glass to fill, stirring very gently to blend while preserving carbonation.
05 - Top each glass with a generous scoop of matcha ice cream.
06 - Garnish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of chopped pistachios, and a light dusting of matcha powder. Serve immediately with a straw and long spoon.

# Notes:

01 - For homemade pistachio syrup, simmer equal parts water and sugar with chopped pistachios until syrupy, strain, and cool.
02 - To accentuate the texture, use nitro-charged soda water when possible.
03 - Plant-based milk and vegan ice cream create a dairy-free version.
04 - Pair with a citrus shortbread for added refreshment.
