Quick Tuna Melt Sandwich (Print Version)

A golden sandwich with creamy tuna salad and melted cheese—ready in minutes for a quick, satisfying meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Tuna Salad

01 - 1 can (150 g) tuna in water or oil, drained
02 - 2 tbsp mayonnaise
03 - 1 tsp Dijon mustard
04 - 1 tbsp finely chopped red onion
05 - 1 tbsp chopped celery or pickles
06 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ Sandwich Assembly

07 - 4 slices sandwich bread (white, whole grain, or sourdough)
08 - 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella)
09 - 1 tbsp butter (softened)

# Steps:

01 - In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, onion, celery or pickles, salt, and pepper until well combined.
02 - Spread the tuna salad evenly over two slices of bread. Sprinkle cheese generously on top, then cover with the remaining bread slices.
03 - Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Butter the outsides of the sandwiches. Grill sandwiches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
04 - Slice and serve hot.
