Sloppy Joe Biscuit Casserole (Print Version)

Mess-free American beef casserole with cheesy biscuits.

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 3/4 cup ketchup
03 - 1/4 cup water
04 - 3 teaspoon brown sugar
05 - 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
06 - 2 teaspoon mustard
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
09 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
10 - 12 oz biscuits, cut into quarters
11 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
03 - Add the ketchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to the skillet with the cooked beef. Simmer for 5 minutes and then remove from heat.
04 - Transfer the beef mixture to a medium bowl. Add the quartered biscuits and toss until thoroughly combined.
05 - Transfer the biscuit and meat mixture into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
06 - Place the pan in the oven and bake for 28–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
07 - Remove the casserole from the oven and serve immediately.
