Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Butter one side of each slice of bread.

On the non-buttered side of two slices, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce.

Add shredded mozzarella, pepperoni slices, a sprinkle of oregano, and grated parmesan. Top with the other slices of bread, buttered side facing out.

Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden and the cheese is melted.

Remove from heat and let sit for 1 minute before slicing.

Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
