Nutella Tagliatelle Nests Dessert (Print Version)

Golden tagliatelle nests filled with creamy Nutella and hazelnuts—crisp, rich, and delightfully indulgent.

# Ingredients:

→ Tagliatelle Nests

01 - 200 g dried tagliatelle
02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional)

→ Filling & Topping

04 - 8 tablespoons Nutella (approximately 2 tablespoons per nest)
05 - 40 g roasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped
06 - Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the tagliatelle until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and rinse briefly with cold water to halt cooking.
02 - Combine the cooked tagliatelle with 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter and sugar, if using. Gently toss to coat, ensuring the noodles are separated and flavored.
03 - On a parchment-lined baking tray, shape four equal portions of tagliatelle into nest forms, leaving a hollow at the center for filling.
04 - Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon unsalted butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Using a spatula, delicately transfer each nest to the skillet and pan-fry for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp at the edges.
05 - Place the nests on serving plates. While still warm, fill each hollow center with 2 tablespoons of Nutella.
06 - Generously sprinkle with chopped roasted hazelnuts, and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For an extra treat, drizzle melted chocolate over the finished nests or accompany with a scoop of vanilla gelato.
02 - Roasted almonds or pistachios can be substituted for hazelnuts.
03 - Nests may be shaped and fried in advance, then gently reheated before filling and garnishing.
