Microwave Mac and Cheese (Print Version)

Creamy, cheesy macaroni made in minutes—perfect for a quick meal using just one mug or bowl in your microwave.

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta

01 - 1/2 cup elbow macaroni (or other small pasta)
02 - 1/2 cup water
03 - Pinch of salt

→ Sauce

04 - 1/4 cup milk
05 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
06 - 1 tbsp cream cheese or butter (optional, for extra creaminess)
07 - Pinch of black pepper

# Steps:

01 - In a large microwave-safe mug or bowl, combine pasta, water, and salt. Microwave uncovered on high for 4–5 minutes, stirring every 1–2 minutes, until pasta is cooked and most of the water is absorbed.
02 - Add milk, shredded cheese, and cream cheese or butter if using. Stir well.
03 - Microwave for another 30–60 seconds until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
04 - Stir again and let sit for 1 minute before serving.
