Hot Fudge Pie Dessert (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pie Batter

01 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
04 - 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
07 - 1/4 tsp salt
08 - 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9-inch pie pan or an 8×8-inch baking dish.
02 - In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add the flour, cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
03 - Pour the batter into the prepared pie pan or baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with moist crumbs.
04 - Allow the pie to cool for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.

# Notes:

01 - Best served warm for the gooey texture. Reheat slices in the microwave for 10-15 seconds if necessary.
02 - For an enhanced chocolate flavor, substitute dark cocoa powder or add 1 tablespoon of espresso powder to the batter.
