Pecan Pie Dump Cake (Print Version)

01 - 15 oz can pecan pie filling or 1 1/2 cups homemade pecan pie filling
02 - 1 box yellow cake mix
03 - 3 large eggs
04 - 1/2 cup melted butter
05 - 1/2 cup chopped pecans
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

08 - Whipped cream
09 - Vanilla ice cream

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - Pour pecan pie filling evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
03 - In a separate bowl, beat eggs with vanilla extract and salt. Pour mixture evenly over the pecan filling.
04 - Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top—do not stir.
05 - Pour melted butter evenly over the cake mix, trying to moisten as much of the top as possible.
06 - Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
07 - Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
08 - Let cool slightly before serving. Top with whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream if desired.
