Crispy Hot Honey Feta Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken and Coating

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
02 - 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
03 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
04 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
06 - Salt and pepper to taste
07 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
08 - 1 large egg, beaten
09 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Hot Honey

10 - 1/3 cup honey
11 - 1–2 teaspoons hot sauce
12 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F) or heat a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat.
02 - In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Warm gently and set aside.
03 - Pound chicken to an even thickness and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
04 - Place flour in one bowl, beaten egg in another, and panko breadcrumbs in a third.
05 - Press crumbled feta cheese into the chicken, then coat in flour, dip in egg, and press into panko breadcrumbs.
06 - Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 20–25 minutes or until crispy and cooked through, or pan-fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
07 - Drizzle the cooked chicken generously with the hot honey just before serving.
08 - Serve hot with a side of rice, salad, or roasted vegetables.

01 - Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F) for safety.
