Creamy Steak Pasta Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta and steak

01 - 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
02 - 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced
03 - Salt, to taste
04 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Sauce and flavoring

05 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
06 - 2 tablespoons butter
07 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 1/2 cup beef broth
09 - 1 cup heavy cream
10 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
11 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
12 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
02 - Season steak slices with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak until browned and cooked through, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
03 - Lower the skillet heat to medium and melt the butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
04 - Pour in the beef broth and simmer for 2 minutes, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
05 - Stir in the heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Let the sauce simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
06 - Toss in the cooked pasta, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce. Return the steak to the pan and gently stir to combine.
07 - Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and extra parmesan, if desired.
