Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté for 1 minute.

Stir in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, and mix in Parmesan until melted and creamy.

Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
