Blend on high speed, pausing to scrape down the sides as required, until completely smooth and creamy. Add a small amount of non-dairy milk only if necessary to enable blending; maintain a thick consistency.

Taste and add more maple syrup if a sweeter flavour is desired.

Divide the nice-cream evenly between two serving bowls.

Sprinkle chopped dark chocolate over each bowl.
