# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
05 - 1/2 cup sour cream
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
07 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
09 - 1 bag (30 oz) frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
10 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
11 - 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (optional for topping)
12 - Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain any excess grease.
03 - Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
04 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, salt, pepper, paprika, thawed hash browns, and 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until fully combined.
05 - Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese. Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter if desired for a crispier top.
06 - Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbling.
07 - Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
