Golden-crisp brioche sticks with a custardy center, perfectly cooked in the air fryer for a quick, mess-free breakfast treat.

# Ingredients:

→ Bread & Custard

01 - 4 thick slices brioche or Texas toast, preferably day-old
02 - 2 large eggs
03 - 0.5 cup whole milk
04 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
07 - Pinch of salt

→ Finish

08 - 2 tablespoons melted butter, for brushing
09 - 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar, optional, for coating
10 - Maple syrup, for serving

# Steps:

01 - Cut each slice of bread into 4 equal sticks lengthwise.
02 - In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
03 - Dip each bread stick into the custard mixture, coating all sides without soaking too long.
04 - Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
05 - Lightly grease the air fryer basket or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
06 - Place dipped sticks in a single layer in the basket, working in batches if necessary. Air fry for 7-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
07 - Brush the cooked sticks lightly with melted butter and toss in cinnamon sugar if desired. Serve warm with maple syrup for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Use challah, sourdough, or gluten-free bread as alternatives.
02 - For dairy-free, substitute plant-based milk and butter.
03 - Great for freezing — reheat from frozen in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 375°F.
